Vinewood Vault
Privacy Policy
Last updated:
Vinewood Vault does not collect, store, or transmit personal information. There is no account, no sign-in, and no analytics.
What the app stores
Your progress (which items you have marked collected, your settings, and your dashboard layout) is saved on your device only, in the app’s local storage and a shared container that the app’s widgets read. It is not sent anywhere and we cannot see it. Deleting the app removes it.
Purchases
Optional Premium features are sold through Apple’s in-app purchase system. Apple processes the payment and the subscription; the app only receives a yes or no entitlement status from Apple and never sees your payment details. Apple’s handling of that transaction is covered by Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Content loaded from the internet
The app downloads its location data and collectible reference images from our content host, and opens video walkthroughs on YouTube in your browser or the YouTube app. Making those requests reveals your device’s IP address to the host serving the file, as with any web request; we do not log it or use it to identify you. Once you open a YouTube link, YouTube’s own privacy policy applies.
Reporting an issue
If you report a problem from inside the app, it opens your email app with a pre-filled message that includes the app version, your device model, and any details you added, such as a corrected map location. Nothing is sent until you choose to send it.
Children
Vinewood Vault is rated 17+ and is not directed at children. It collects no information from anyone, regardless of age.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
